If you live in North Carolina, you might have been aware that the governor Roy Cooper put a veto on HB10.
The senate has overriden the veto and HB10 becomes a law on Dec 1st, 2024.
HB10 had 2 key aspects:
– Provides vouchers for kids to go to a private school
– Requires sherifs to help ICE on immigration matters.
